ONE WEEK EXPERIENCE IN PRAYER AND DIRECTING PRAYER 

• FOR MEN AND WOMEN DISCERNING THEIR CALL TO THE MINISTRY OF SPIRITUAL DIRECTION
• FOR INDIVIDUALS DESIROUS OF ENHANCING THEIR PASTORAL MINISTRY
• FOR PRIESTS, MINISTERS, DEACONS, CHAPLAINS, ETC WANTING TO DEVELOP THEIR QUALITY OF PRESENCE

OUR WEEK TOGETHER INVOLVES TWO MAJOR PARTS:

PART ~ A
Silent Guided Retreat:  Experiencing God in All Things
February 10-12, 2012

Saint Ignatius Loyola offers solid wisdom for all who desire to be open to Spirit’s creating action through contemporary realities.  This silent guided retreat will introduce retreatants to Ignatius and his spirituality and will offer concrete suggestions to aid retreatants in their prayer and discernment.

PART ~ B
A PRACTICUM EXPERIENCE OF DIRECTING ANOTHER’S PRAYER
February 13-17, 2012

Under the guidance of the Spiritual Growth staff, following the Guided Retreat Weekend, participants will learn about and have practice in guiding the prayer of another.  It is important to note that this program does not train one to be a retreat director.  Please send a typed letter of application giving us some information about yourself and your desires for this program. Please also have your spiritual guide, superior, or someone who knows you well send us a letter stating why this program would be beneficial for you.
