Kathryn Fitzgerald has been a member of the Jesuit Center Staff for close to twenty years. Kathryn’s preparation for her ministry included completing a Master’s program in Christian Spirituality at Creighton University. In 1998 Kathryn received her Doctor of Ministry degree from Lancaster Theological Seminary and since then has enjoyed teaching some graduate level spirituality and discernment courses at several local institutions. Her doctoral project was on the central role of imagination in spiritual transformation. Kathryn’s interest in imagination has confirmed and deepened her understanding and appreciation of the Spiritual Exercises and has also informed her practice of ministry with a holistic approach.
