ADVENT DAY OF PRAYER: Pause Awhile and Ponder God's Great Love

This Advent Day offers time to pause amidst the busyness of life in order to ponder the great love of God as it is revealed in our lives and through the Incarnation. This silent retreat day will be highlighted by conferences, time for personal prayer, liturgy, and optional small group sharing.

Tony LaMastra has directed retreats and days of recollection in parishes, and currently is involved in music ministry in St. Mary’s parish in Hamburg, PA where he also writes a bi-monthly column for the parish newsletter.

Arrival: 8:30-9:15 AM
Program Begins: 9:30 AM
Departure: 3:00 PM

Lent can be for us a searching out and a restorative time, a period of renewed direction and perspective which is essential in shaping one’s life on the pattern of Jesus. We invite you to spend a day in quiet reflection. With input, time for silence, and liturgy, this day is meant to help you to get in touch with your Lenten call to transformation and new life.
