At the Jesuit Center, we deliberately keep our programs affordable. We offer scholarships to retreatants who cannot afford even our modest fees, and we welcome economically-challenged folks from the inner city. We hope you join us for this very important fundraising event!

Interfaith Prayer Service for Peace
Reflections offered by: Anita Wood, Sayed Elmarzouky, and Rabbi Brian Michaelson
Tuesday, September 24, 2019
10 AM - 2 PM
The Psalmist proclaims, “Some trust in chariots, some in horses, but we will trust in the name of God.” In the Gospel of Matthew, Jesus teaches, “Blessed are the peacemakers, for they shall be called children of God.” The Qu’ran reminds us, “Truly it is in the remembrance of God that hearts find peace.”
Join Phoebe Berks and the Jesuit Center for Spiritual Growth for a time of prayer, reflection, and song in celebration of and yearning for peace.
There is no charge for the prayer service. A buffet lunch will be served beginning at 12:00 PM. To join us for lunch, please contact our registrar Mrs. Melinda Leonowitz at firstname.lastname@example.org or 610-670-3642 by the end of business on Friday, September 20.
The cost for lunch is $7.00 (for residents of Phoebe Berks) and $14.00 (for others).
After you register, you'll be instructed to make your deposit and/or pay your final cost.
